My new novel (in Great Britain and Australia) STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER will not be published at the end of July, as was originally scheduled. This is due to financial problems at Arcadia Books. I am very disappointed, of course. My agent will be approaching other publishers over the summer. Other News: My crossover novel "Strawberry Fields Forever" came out in Portugal on May 8 and was a bestseller for six weeks, reaching Number 1 at the Leitura/Bulhosa bookshop chain. In Portuguese, the title is "Ilha Teresa" (Teresa Island). British rights have been sold to Arcadia Books, which will publish the book in February of 2012. Brazilian rights have already sold to Record. My Portuguese publisher chose to give the book a cover with a 1960s feel because of the connection to John Lennon and the Beatles in the book (one of the main characters is a huge Lennon fan and the climax of the novel take splace at the Strawberry Fields memorial in New York's Central Park).
